Developing Junior Orienteering
Leicestershire Orienteering Club (LEI) is working to extend the opportunities for young people in Leicester and Leicestershire to enjoy the sport of orienteering.
We have achieved Clubmark status, the Sport England accreditation which demonstrates quality for clubs with a junior section. We plan to develop;- orienteering coaching opportunties
- a regular programme of local events suitable for young people
- a club team participating in regional and national junior competitions
- policies and procedures to Care for and Protect children and young people participating in our events
- links with schools and youth groups
