Pay via The Start Kite: Seniors £5, Non-BOF Senior £6, Full-time students &; working-age unwaged £2.50, Junior (20 & under or Family group shadowing their juniors) £1.50. Senior on the Short Course £1.50.
Insurance: From 1st Jan 2026, if you’re not currently a member of British Orienteering, you won’t be covered by the organisation’s public liability insurance. You’re very welcome to take part, but please be aware that you do so at your own risk
Personal Information: When entering events your personal details (name, age, gender, club) will appear in the results section on this website. It may also be used to contact you regarding this event including to trace missing runners and hired SI cards.

Enter 3 days before the event to guarantee a map. Pay the entry fee to The Start Kite (account details will be displayed on screen when you confirm your entry).
Late entries and Entry on the Day: This is possible via The Start Kite depending on map availability. No cash entry on the day.
Assembly and Download: The Arc Community Hub, Knox Road.
Parking: at the Community Hub. There is only space for about 25 cars, so please car share. We must avoid parking on the road.
Don’t arrive before 6pm as there could be other users at the Hub.

Start and Finish: close to car park.
Terrain: typical suburban residential area.
Map: is an Open Orienteering Map. Run on the black lines and the yellow open areas. Don’t cross purple and there are no reasons to enter green areas.
Courses: All subject to final planning.
Two sprint courses for Long (2.5km, 2km) andMedium (2km, 1.7km); and a single course forShort (2km) with about ten controls on each course.
Control Collection: Volunteers willing to collect in a few controls each after the courses close would be much appreciated.
Safety: A risk assessment has been carried out by the Organiser and all reasonable care has been taken to ensure the safety of competitors. However, participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event. See Event Safety

Summer League
The 2026 LEI Summer League consists of 18 events taking place from April to August. They include urban, parks and woodland events. See Summer League for the full list of fixtures and points system.
