A quick reminder for newcomers: From 1st Jan 2026, if you’re not currently a member of British Orienteering, you won’t be covered by the organisation’s public liability insurance for this event. You’re very welcome to take part, but please be aware that you do so at your own risk.
MapRun: The control sites have no visible controls. Instead the Start, Finish and all control sites are identified by a GPS signal on your phone. The signal can be received within a few metres of the feature marked on your map. Advice and assistance will be available for anyone new to MapRun.
App: All participants need a smart phone or watch with the MapRun or MapRunG App. Download App.
Meet: Service station South
Start: Will be close to registration. Do not tap Go to Start until you are ready to go.
Courses: Suitable for newcomers as well as experienced orienteers.
Courses Close: 8.00pm.
Planner: The MapRun courses will be designed by Roger Edwards.
