Pay via The Start Kite: Seniors £5, Non-BOF Senior £6, Full-time students &; working-age unwaged £2.50, Junior (20 & under or Family group shadowing their juniors) £1.50. Senior on the Short Course £1.50.

Insurance: From 1st Jan 2026, if you’re not currently a member of British Orienteering, you won’t be covered by the organisation’s public liability insurance. You’re very welcome to take part, but please be aware that you do so at your own risk

Personal Information: When entering events your personal details (name, age, gender, club) will appear in the results section on this website. It may also be used to contact you regarding this event including to trace missing runners and hired SI cards.

Notes

Entry: Entries are open on The Start Kite. Enter before end of Tuesday 27th January to guarantee a map. Pay the entry fee to Start Kite (account details will be displayed on screen when you confirm your entry).
Late entries and Entry on the Day: These are possible via Start Kite, but after 27th January will depend on map availability. No cash entry on the day.

New to Orienteering? If you are new to orienteering, please make yourself known to the organiser at registration and advice will be available.

Parking: Enter the campus from the Ashby Road entrance. Proceed left at the first roundabout and then left down the hill to the multi-storey car park (car park 1). After you've parked, assembly is across the road from the car park.
Pay for parking: Following the instructions on the signs in the car park. Charge should be £1.20. You can save 20p by pre-booking via these instructions. Please be careful proceeding through the car park. Please note that this is a University campus and it's home to a lot of students. Give way to them and be careful on blind corners.

Terrain: Complex university campus. Most of the courses will be on hard surfaces with occasional running across grass. It will be slippy if wet. Courses will use steps and there will be raised kerbs etc. Please be careful when running whilst looking at your map.

Start and Finish: both close to the Car Park.

Control Collection: Volunteers willing to collect in a few controls each after the courses close would be much appreciated.

The 2025/2026 LEI Winter League consists of 8 events taking place from November to February. They include night and daytime events, urban and woodland events. See Winter League for the full list of fixtures and points system.
