Enter 3 days before the event to guarantee a map. Pay the entry fee to The Start Kite (account details will be displayed on screen when you confirm your entry).
Late entries and Entry on the Day: This is possible via The Start Kite depending on map availability. No cash entry on the day.
New to Orienteering? If you are new to orienteering, please make yourself known to the organiser at registration and advice will be available.
Car Park: at the end of Canal Street, off Aylestone Lane.
Start and Finish: both close to the Car Park.
Terrain: Mixed open areas, wooden areas and paths.
Map : The map has been completely redrawn, and this was finished mid-June.
Scale 1:10,000 Contours 5m
Courses: Lengths are straight line. You will run approximately 30-40% further.

Control Collection: Volunteers willing to collect in a few controls each after the courses close would be much appreciated.
Safety: A risk assessment has been carried out by the Organiser and all reasonable care has been taken to ensure the safety of competitors. However, participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
The Organiser will hold a First Aid kit and a defibrillator.
Please note: Take care around the canal and river.This is popular public park, so please be respectful to other users and take care around dogs.

Summer League
The 2025 LEI Summer League consists of 17 events taking place from April to August on midweek evenings with Starts usually from 6.00pm to 7.00pm. They include Long, Score, Sprint and Urban events. Your top 10 scores count on the league table. See the Summer League page for the full list of fixtures and the current league table.
