Short course stays on roads and grass so you can get away with wearing shorts.
Medium and Long may encounter rougher vegetation e.g. nettles along path verges so long legs would be preferable

Safety: A risk assessment has been carried out by the Organiser and all reasonable care has been taken to ensure the safety of competitors. However, participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.
The Organiser will hold a First Aid kit and a defibrillator.
Please note:
- Urban event so all courses inevitably have multiple road crossings, so take good care when crossing roads and on car parks.
- The river which runs South of Morrisons across the centre of the map is marked as uncrossable. Water levels are currently low, but you must still treat it as uncrossable and use the bridges.
- A path running through an area of woodland which we normally use has been taped off - please do not go beyond the tapes. This route will be marked with purple crosses ("forbidden route") on the map. If more paths have been taped since the maps were marked, please respect the tape and choose another route.
