Insurance: From 1st Jan 2026, if you’re not currently a member of British Orienteering, you won’t be covered by the organisation’s public liability insurance . You’re very welcome to take part, but please be aware that you do so at your own risk.
Sprint Style
MapRun: The control sites have no visible controls. Instead the Start, Finish and all control sites are identified by a GPS signal on your phone. The signal can be received within a few metres of the feature marked on your map. Advice and assistance will be available for anyone new to MapRun.
App: All participants need a smart phone or watch with the MapRun or MapRunG App. Download App.
Meet: Glebe Road
Start: Will be close to registration. Do not tap Go to Start until you are ready to go.
Courses: Suitable for newcomers as well as experienced orienteers.
Courses Close: 8.00pm.
Planner: The MapRun courses will be designed by Roger Edwards.
Map: OpenOrienteeringMap. Scale: 1:5000 on an A4
