YB and Open Courses: In addition to the courses for the Yvette Baker Trophy and Shield there will be White, Short Green, Green Open and Short Blue courses for anyone not competing in the Yvette Baker Competition.

Pay & Display Parking: Use the lower car park. £3.20 up to 4 hours, up to 8 hours £5.20, over £7. Need 3 Reg letters, payment card PIN or contactless or coins. Four machines.

Map: There are permanent course maps for this park at British Orienteering. Also route gadget from UKOL Middle Distance event in March 2018. Map is 1:5,000 and 2.5m contours updated for the event.

Terrain: The country park is fairly level but with a deep valley (Railway Gullet).
There are over 250 separate mapped earthwalls some of which are high enough not to be able to see over. Harder courses will cross these and will involve extra climb which is not included in the climb on the Control description.
The undergrowth screen is based on winter conditions but will be fairly reliable for the race. There are some nettles!

Entry: Yvette Baker Competition entries via club Team Managers to the Event Organiser. All others entries use The Start Kite . Late entries on White, Green and Short Green (Short Blue is full) subject to map availability.

Helpers: Volunteers are needed to help on the day. Please contact the organiser if you can help. You will get a discount on your entry fee, as shifts allow volunteers to compete as well as help.
