Courses: (optimal distances)
Short 2.7km, Medium 4.1 km, Long 6.3 km Minimal climb
Parking Notes: on street parking. Thurcaston Road Bridge is closed to cars but may be crossed on foot. Start is on the east side.
Control descriptions: download from “Event details†and on map.
MapRun: Start, Finish and all control sites are identified by a GPS signal with no physical control kite or plaque. You willbe given a PIN to access map. Do not tap ‘Go to Start’ until you are ready to go.
Kit: Head torch as some areas not covered by street lights. A smart phone with the MapRun6 or MapRunG App. Download MapRun App.
NO PHONE? If you do not have a phone with GPS enabled, you can do the courses using a map only, but you need to make your own judgment if you are at the control site.
