Start/Finish:100m from car park to both start and finish

Courses:
Long 4.6km 125m climb
Medium 3km 90m climb
Short 1.1km 40m climb

Terrain:
Mixture of open paddocks with cattle and woodlands. The top of Billa Bara Hill has a lot if fine contour details and good views over Leicestershire. Course have been planned to avoid the worst of the head high nettles but you will still encounter nettles and bramble as some of the paths are getting over grown. Long and medium courses will have road crossings to access the areas north west of Stanton.

Summer League 2017
The 2017 LEI Summer League consists of 19 informal events taking place from April to August. They include long, score, sprint and urban events. Your top 10 scores count on the league table. See Summer League for the full list of fixtures and the current league table.

Suitable for Beginners?: Beginners are welcome. Please arrive early and preferably let the organiser know in advance so that you can be sure to get advice from an experienced orienteer.
Large Groups?: If you intend to come to our event as part of a large group, eg Youth group, Scouts, Cubs, Athletic or running club, it would be helpful to let the Organiser know in advance. This ensures we can have enough maps available for you and avoid disappointment.
