Notes: World Orienteering Day
24th of May is World Orienteering Day The aim of the day is to increase the visibility and accessibility of orienteering to young people and to increase the number of participants in both school and club activities.

Today’s event will therefore include an after school session from 3.30pm and will include a Very Short “Adventurer & Explorer” course for novices

Start times: Participants of any age can start from 3.30 onwards.

Summer League 2017
The 2017 LEI Summer League consists of 19 informal events taking place from April to August. They include long, score, sprint and urban events. Your top 10 scores count on the league table. See Summer League for the full list of fixtures and the current league table.

Suitable for Beginners?: Beginners are welcome. Please arrive early and preferably let the organiser know in advance so that you can be sure to get advice from an experienced orienteer.
Large Groups?: If you intend to come to our event as part of a large group, eg Youth group, Scouts, Cubs, Athletic or running club, it would be helpful to let the Organiser know in advance. This ensures we can have enough maps available for you and avoid disappointment.
