Insurance: From 1st Jan 2026, if you’re not currently a member of British Orienteering, you won’t be covered by the organisation’s public liability insurance. You’re very welcome to take part, but please be aware that you do so at your own risk.

Entry: Entries will open about 3 weeks before the event on The Start Kite. Enter before end of Tuesday 21st April to guarantee a map. Pay the entry fee to Start Kite (account details will be displayed on screen when you confirm your entry).
Late entries and Entry on the Day: This is possible via Start Kite, but after will depend on map availability. No cash entry on the day.

Yvette Baker Heat: Team Managers must notify the Organiser before 12th April, if they wish to enter a team for the YBT/YBS competition. Also declare if any non club members are in the team. YBT/S starts must meet the separation requirements. Yellow, Orange, Light Green and Green are the only courses used for the Yvette Baker competition.
New to Orienteering? If you are new to orienteering, please make yourself known to the organiser at registration and advice will be available.

The Tennis Club will be selling hot drinks.
Terrain: A mixture of woodland, paths and open land. Longer courses also cross urban terrain.
Courses: All courses are available for all orienteers. However, if you wish to gain points towards the EMUL, you must enter the course for your age class.
The East Midlands League is a series of events in each calendar year. Individuals gain points towards their League position with their 8 best results counting. More information on the EMOA Website.
