South Charnwood Schools Orienteering Competition
Tuesday 20th May 2008
Eight schools each brought groups of pupils to Martinshaw Woods for the second South Charnwood Schools Partnership Orienteering Competition. After an introductory map walk and single control practice courses pairs of children competed on one or both of the 'White' standard sprint courses. Each pair who finished was given a score, winner one point, second person two points and so on to the last finisher. The best four scores for each school on each of the two courses were used to calculate the overall scores.
The winning school is the one with the lowest total score.
