Permanent Courses

These courses provide an opportunity for individuals and groups to orienteer at any time. There are various courses that vary in technical difficulty. Some are designed for children and beginners while others offer a challenge even to the experienced orienteer.

For many of the courses there is a Youth Leader/ Teacher pack. This gives details on how to use the POC to introduce your group to orienteering. Please ask for a copy.

Watermead Country Park

The permanent course is based on the North car park (pay on entry) which is off Wanlip Road. This cannot be reached directly from the Leicester Western Bypass. Follow the brown tourist sites from the A46/A607 roundabout near Syston.
