Club Night
The positive response to the club night questionnaire in the last LEI News encouraged the club's committee to agree to try a pilot Club Night from Monday 22 February until Easter. We will be using Groby Community College from 7.00 to 8.30 pm. This is the same evening and venue as the Parent and Child club. The five evenings will have a varied programme. On the night please pay £2 this will cover room hire and the materials, etc. We will have a large indoor area for some sessions. For most of the sessions we are expecting to go outdoors and use the social area, for those interested some of the indoor work will include coverage of the SI electronic timing results facilities.
We are still seeking a Club Night Administrator; so if you are coming along why not find out what's needed and offer your services, even if it's only for a limited period.
Club members are welcome to transfer to the Ibstock and Hinckley training centres during the summer too.
Parent Child Club
Monday evenings 6.00 to 7.30 pm
Commencing 22nd February 2010.
Includes activities for newcomers and those with some experience. Newcomers should book with the organiser first.
