For an outstanding performance by a lady member
A very difficult choice this year as our ladies have produced some notable results over the last months in all the major events.
For her performances during the year particularly at the 2007 JK and the Scottish 6 Days the award goes to Shirley Moir.

The Presidents Award

Tiger Trophy

. This new award is for a particular outstanding service to the club in the last 12 months.
We have as a club over the last few months sought to develop and strengthen links with out side bodies notably the National Forest Company and Local Authorities. The development of those links has brought many new opportunities and resources to the club and it is for that work that the President's Award goes to Roy Denney.

Roy Denney

For valuable and enthusiastic help and assistance to the club and membership over many years.
Tonight's recipient has over the years undertaken many tasks for the club. He is probably the most well know member of the club. He is a former chairman, he has planned, organised and controlled many events. Much of his current work for the club is hidden away in lists of grid references, fixtures lists, map registrations and the like. He is a constant source of advice to the officers, indeed he is our technical adviser.
The winner of the Tiger Trophy is Mr Ernie Williams.
