INDEPENDENT ACCOUNTANTS' REPORT
TO THE MEMBERS OF LEICESTERSHIRE ORIENTEERING CLUB
We have reviewed the financial statements on pages 1 to 3 having regard to the matters
referred to in the following paragraphs.
This club, in common with many others of similar size and organisation, derives a substantial
proportion of its income from the running of events, the income from which cannot be fully
controlled until entered in the accounting records and which is not therefore susceptible to
independent verification.
Subject to the foregoing, in our opinion the financial statements give a true and fair view of the
club's affairs at 31 August 2004 and of its deficit for the year then ended and are consistent
with the records and information supplied to us.
