Team Events

This year for the first time the Leicestershire Orienteering Club entered a team for the Yvette Baker Trophy. Not only did they enter but they qualified for the final. On this occasion the olympian spirit was in evidence as it really was a case of the "taking part" that was important. The members of the team all seemed to have a good time and got on well and were supportive of each other. This was helped by being able to gather in and around the club tent and the new club banner. This year for the first time the Leicestershire Orienteering Club entered a team for the Peter Palmer Relays. The LEI team finished a creditable 20th out of 34 teams - pretty good for a first attempt I think you will agree. Below is a photograph of the team.
