Club & Activity Nights
LEI now offer Club & Activity Nights to all members and prospective members.
This is an opportunity to get together with fellow orienteers and investigate various aspects of orienteering including fitness, navigation etc.
How much does it cost?
Families £5;. Adults £3 and children £1 per session.When & Where are they held?
Sessions are held in the early evening. Some of the sessions may be held away from the usual venue. Full detail are available from the links at the bottom of this page.What Equipment will I need?
You will need warm clothing in Autumn and Spring and footwear suitable for the school room and for the playing fields. When it's dark you will need a torch to read the map. Everything else will be provided. If you want to buy equipment, especially compasses, you are welcome to try out the club's loan compasses first during one of the sessions.Do I need to join the Orienteering club?
You do not need to join the orienteering club but many families and individuals find it is worth while and join after the first month. First year local family or senior membership is £6 and this entitles adults to a £2 reduction on other local orienteering event entry fees.How do I book?
