The Long Orange is for beginners and is not part of the league. Gold Standard is 60 minutes.
Blue and Brown: Far start by Bus
The Blue and Brown courses will use a bus to get to the far start. Please arrive early. There will be a 60 seconds timed out road crossing on these courses.
1st Bus will leave at approx. 10.25 and the last bus will leave at 11.45 for Blue/brown starts 10:30 to 12:00, Depart from outside school office, warmup clothing maybe left on board the bus to be collected from download at the end of your race.
Blue and Brown use an A3 map and have a timed-out road crossing between Ratby Woods and Martinshaw Woods.
White to Green: Near start
700m metre walk to start head out the school front pedestrian gate, turn left and turn left again to head up Woodbank Road and enter woods on the footpath off Woodbank Road. This route will be taped.
The M1 motorway: must only be crossed via the bridge marked on the map.
Download: will be in the front office of the top school buildings, the toilets are located here as well. Please do not wear muddy shoes inside the building.
Post-event Coaching: after 12.00 there will be an opportunity to talk through your course with a club coach. Identify what contributed to your successful legs and anything that could improve your performance.
Covid-19 Measures: Do not attend if you have any Covid symptoms (Runny nose, Headache, Sneezing, Sore throat, or Persistent cough), you have been close to someone who has, or you have been asked to isolate.
