An ideal opportunity for all LEI seniors to improve their skills using one of the best East Midland areas, Longshaw Estate Derbyshire. Club coaches Peter Hornsby and Mark Hardy will plan some skill development exercises and give individual guidance.
The day will suit both those still learning the basics up to the most experienced and competitive orienteers.
This is being organised in conjunction with EMJOS. Dai Bedwell has planned a number of training exercises for EMJOS. We will be using these also for the senior LEI coaching.
Kit requirements: normal O-kit for a day’s training. Whistles must be carried during training. Bring a packed lunch, which we’ll eat in the area. Warm clothes and water proofs to put on when not running. Plenty to drink.. SI dibbers not required.
