Summer League: – midweek evening events

Covid-19 Measures: Do not attend if you have Covid symptoms, have been close to someone who has or have been asked to isolate; Keep distanced from other orienteers; Do not form groups of more than 6 people and do not mingle between groups.
NB It is important that if you meet members of the public at any of the kissing gates around the site, you give them priority and space. This is a condition of us using the site.

Beginners: If you are using an SIAC dibber you must punch the start and finish. The rest are contactless (hint: hold to your ear to listen for the beep).

Terrain: Mainly woodland of variable density and path network. You will notice many changes from earlier maps. Some due to woodland thining leaving clearance rides (mapped with the ride symbol) which are now the most significant features in the western part of the site. Ash trees affected by dieback have also been felled. The Woodland Trust have reduced the amount of mowing, meaning the meadows are beautiful.

Clothing: You are expected to wear full leg cover.

Entry: Use the on-line entry system below. Closing date 12 July.
Payment: You will be invoiced after end of the last summer league event.

45 minute Score course in 2 parts on either side of the map. Once you turn and start on the second part you cannot return to the first part.

Courses Close: Controls will be taken in from 8.15pm, so retire if you have not completed your course by then.

Summer League 2021
The 2021 LEI Summer League consists of 17 events taking place from April to August. They include long, score, sprint and urban events. Your top 10 scores count on the league table. See Summer League for the full list of fixtures.

Large Groups: Large groups (Youth group, Scouts, Running club etc) should let the Organiser know a week in advance.
